Warm memories: Jordana Brewster is featured in a new spread and interview in Boston Common magazine where she talks about her close relationship with the late Paul Walker. The two actors attended a Fast and Furious 6 event in Las Vegas in 2013

'I so badly wanted to say I can’t express what he meant to me or what the impact of him being gone has had on my life in one quote, because I loved Paul so much,' she said in the interview.

Jordana, who has portrayed Mia since The Fast And The Furious was released in 2001, said her friend taught her a lot.

'What Paul had was the gift of being really present to everyone around him,' she said.

'It’s something I’ve worked really hard on. I think all of us try so hard, and it’s difficult to have that innately.'

The handsome actor was also her on-set confidant and someone with whom she could speak openly without any judgment.

'It’s one of the best qualities you can have in a friend. He didn't want the drama. He didn't get wrapped up in the stuff that so many people in the industry do. So I was just blessed to know him at all.'

The Fast And Furious 7 hits theaters April 3 and also stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.

The movie had a difficult time even making it to the big screen following the tragic death of Paul, who died in a car crash on November 30, 2013.

Although Paul will appear in the finished movie, rewrites diminished his role, and the actor's brothers, Caleb and Cody, had to be used as his stand-ins.

Taking place after the events of Fast & Furious 6, the new movie finds Dominic Toretto (Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Walker), and the crew returning to the United States.

Their return to normalcy is shattered when Ian Shaw (Jason Statham), the elder brother of former rival Owen Shaw, chases down Dominic to seek revenge for his brother's death.

Jordana is married to her producer husband Andrew Form, who she tied the knot with in the Bahamas in 2007.

The couple welcomed their son Julian, who was born by a surrogate, in September 2013.

"Furious 7" was the franchise's "most challenging" film to make and promote because the cast is "still mourning" their late colleague Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson told HuffPost Live on Wednesday.

"Everything stopped. Everything shut down. Our first instinct was to quit and just let it go," Gibson said of the reaction to Walker's death in a car crash in November 2013.

The film, which ends with a "beautiful" tribute to Walker, only moved forward after the actor's family gave its blessing.

"Paul had gotten through 85 percent of the movie before his untimely death, and then once his mother and father and his brothers, just his overall family said, 'We are in full support of you guys finishing the movie,' there was a reminder that Paul was not a selfish person. He would have never said, 'You know if anything happened to me, everything should stop, right?'" Gibson said.

That family support was present on set every day in the form of Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb, who would step in to play Walker because "they look just like him," Gibson said.

Walker died just two days after Thanksgiving 2013, and a text message exchange wishing one another's family well was Gibson's last communication with the star. Not long before that, Walker had been to Gibson's house for his daughter's 5th birthday party. In the months since his death, Gibson said the "Furious 7" cast has focused on compartmentalizing their emotions and remembering Walker's positive spirit.

"Paul was the nicest guy in the world, period. He treated everybody the same -- the cast, the crew, wardrobe, electric, grips, doesn't matter if you do plumbing. He was the nicest guy ever," Gibson said. "So we all felt the trauma. It wasn't just a death. It wasn't just a loss. It was traumatic because of the way he died. So it was a lot."
